The Tarot of Anchorage reimagines the twenty-two traditional Major Arcana through the evocative landscapes and northern city streets of Anchorage, Alaska. Dramatic narrative scenes set against Cook Inlet and the Chugach mountain skyline bring classic archetypal journeys to life.
Illustrated in a dramatic 1950s romance and adventure comic style, every card features bold brush contours, deep noir chiaroscuro, and classic Ben-Day halftone dots. Weathered newsprint tones, faded scarlet, petrol teal, and mustard yellow inks lend an authentic mid-century aesthetic to each scene.
This 24-card deck includes all 22 numbered Major Arcana cards alongside dedicated How to Use and About the Cards reference cards. Each expressive card composition captures timeless archetypal meanings, offering grounded storytelling and clear intuition during readings.
Created specifically for tarot and oracle readers, this collection suits anyone drawn to retro graphic art, northern coastal light, and atmospheric storytelling.
