The Tarot of Detroit reimagines the twenty-two traditional Major Arcana through the storied landscape of Detroit, Michigan. From Art Deco towers and factory heritage to classic automobiles, Motown stages, and the riverfront, each card presents a narrative scene grounded in archetype.
Rendered in a dramatic 1950s romance and adventure comic-book aesthetic, the artwork features bold brush contours, rich chiaroscuro shadows, and Ben-Day halftone dots. Weathered newsprint tones of faded scarlet, petrol teal, and mustard yellow bring a vintage comic noir atmosphere to life.
This twenty-four-card deck includes all twenty-two numbered Major Arcana alongside dedicated How to Use and About the Cards information cards. The expressive characters and narrative settings offer visceral visual cues that illuminate archetypal journeys of change, truth, and purpose.
Perfect for tarot and oracle readers drawn to mid-century graphic storytelling and industrial Americana, this deck provides deep intuitive readings. It brings a unique cinematic perspective to personal reflection and symbolic inquiry.
