The Tarot of Boston reimagines the traditional 22 Major Arcana through dramatic narrative scenes set against historic Boston landmarks. From Beacon Hill brick streets and the bustling harbor to classic brownstones and scholarly architecture, every card grounds archetypal wisdom in a distinct cityscape.
Illustrated in the style of 1950s American romance and adventure comics, the cards feature bold brush contours, rich noir chiaroscuro, and authentic Ben-Day halftone dots. A muted mid-century palette of faded scarlet, petrol teal, and mustard yellow over warm newsprint inks brings each expressive figure to life.
This 24-card deck includes all 22 numbered Major Arcana alongside two dedicated informational cards explaining how to use and understand the deck. Each evocative visual scenario intuitively captures core card meanings, ranging from the fresh beginnings of The Fool to the wholeness of The World.
Perfect for both tarot and oracle readers, this deck offers an atmospheric, story-driven reading experience rooted in vintage comic nostalgia. The dramatic period compositions invite profound intuitive exploration and meaningful divinatory insight.
