The Tarot of Seattle explores the Pacific Northwest city through the twenty-two traditional Major Arcana archetypes. Narrative scenes showcase Puget Sound ferries, the Space Needle, rainy streets, coffee counters, and evergreen hills.
Illustrated in a dramatic 1950s romance and adventure comic-book style, each card features heavy brush contours, fine cross-hatching, and bold noir chiaroscuro. The visuals showcase expressive period figures, large Ben-Day halftone dots, and aged newsprint tones of faded scarlet, petrol teal, and mustard yellow.
This 24-card deck includes the complete 22 numbered Major Arcana alongside two unnumbered information cards: How to Use and About the Cards. Every narrative composition reflects traditional tarot meanings, grounding archetypal lessons of fate, balance, and revelation in atmospheric city settings.
Expressive character faces, dramatic gestures, and hand-drawn architecture bring rich vintage atmosphere to every spread. It makes a uniquely evocative addition for modern tarot and oracle readers seeking vintage comic noir storytelling.
