The Tarot of Milwaukee reimagines the traditional twenty-two Major Arcana through narrative scenes set against historic brewery brickwork, river bridges, and Lake Michigan. Each card captures a classic archetype framed by the city's distinctive lakefront architecture.
Illustrated in a dramatic 1950s romance and adventure comic style, the visual design features expressive adult faces, heavy black brush contours, and fine pen cross-hatching. Bold shadow shapes and large Ben-Day halftone dots heighten the vintage aesthetic.
Flat faded scarlet, muted petrol teal, and mustard yellow newsprint tones bring a worn paper look to every dramatic composition. Dark noir chiaroscuro creates an evocative atmosphere that deepens the cards' symbolic power.
This 24-card deck contains all twenty-two numbered Major Arcana cards, plus two unnumbered information cards providing guidance on how to use and understand the deck.
Created for intuitive tarot and oracle readers, these evocative scenes offer fresh depth to classic card concepts. The distinctive urban backdrop delivers rich visual storytelling to enhance your daily reflection and readings.
