The Tarot of Houston reimagines the twenty-two traditional Major Arcana through the spirit, architecture, and atmosphere of Houston, Texas. Narrative scenes bring classic archetypes to life against backdrops of space exploration, downtown towers, bayou bridges, and diverse neighborhoods bathed in humid Gulf light.
Illustrated in a dramatic 1950s romance and adventure comic style, every card features heavy black brush contours, rich noir chiaroscuro shadows, and fine cross-hatching. Classic Ben-Day halftone dots, worn paper textures, and muted inks in faded scarlet, petrol teal, and mustard yellow capture an authentic vintage newsprint aesthetic.
This 24-card deck includes the complete 22 numbered Major Arcana alongside dedicated How to Use and About the Cards reference cards. Each expressive card scene reflects traditional tarot meanings, guiding your personal intuition through themes of destiny, revelation, transformation, and joy.
Tailored specifically for tarot and oracle readers, this collection offers a compelling visual journey for personal reflection or intuitive practice. Deepen your readings with evocative mid-century comic art and the vibrant spirit of an iconic city.
