The Tarot of Indianapolis reimagines the twenty-two traditional Major Arcana through the storied streets, canal paths, racing heritage, and Monument Circle of Indianapolis. This twenty-four-card deck features twenty-two numbered narrative archetypes alongside two dedicated cards explaining how to use and interpret the deck.
Rendered in dramatic vintage comic noir, the artwork captures a classic 1950s American romance and adventure illustration style. Expressive period figures emerge through heavy brush contours, solid shadows, fine cross-hatching, and authentic Ben-Day halftone dots printed in faded scarlet, petrol teal, and warm newsprint tones.
Each card frames an evocative visual story set against hand-drawn Midwestern city architecture and dark chiaroscuro lighting. Readers can tap directly into classic archetypes like The Fool, Death, and The World through grounded, cinematic urban drama.
Ideal for tarot and oracle readers drawn to nostalgic comic aesthetics, this deck brings timeless divination into mid-century graphic storytelling. It provides focused intuitive guidance through a uniquely stylized exploration of Midwestern history and spirit.
