The Tarot of Cincinnati reimagines the traditional Major Arcana through dramatic narrative scenes set across historic Cincinnati, Ohio. Each of the twenty-two numbered cards explores classic archetypes against iconic backdrops like Ohio River bridges, Over-the-Rhine brickwork, and bustling historic markets.
Illustrated in a dramatic 1950s comic noir style, every card features heavy black brush contours, expressive faces, and tactile Ben-Day halftone dots. Warm newsprint tones, faded scarlet, muted petrol teal, and mustard yellow inks bring vintage romance and adventure art to life.
Designed for meaningful contemplation, the deck pairs timeless meanings with striking noir chiaroscuro. Two included information cards, How to Use and About the Cards, provide helpful guidance for exploring each archetype.
This distinctive deck is an evocative choice for tarot and oracle readers seeking compelling art and narrative depth. Historic cityscapes and expressive period figures offer memorable imagery for your intuitive practice.
