The Tarot of Portland, Oregon reimagines the twenty-two traditional Major Arcana through the iconic atmosphere of the Pacific Northwest. Narrative scenes set among rainy brick streets, Willamette bridges, rose gardens, and forested hills bring classic archetypes to life.
Illustrated in a dramatic vintage comic noir style, the deck draws inspiration from 1950s romance and adventure comics. Hand-drawn urban architecture, heavy brush contours, expressive adult faces, and visible Ben-Day halftone dots capture a moody, retro aesthetic.
Faded scarlet, muted petrol teal, mustard yellow, and warm newsprint inks evoke worn vintage paper and timeless mystery. Rich shadow shapes and dark chiaroscuro deepen every dramatic composition.
This twenty-four card deck includes the full journey of the Major Arcana alongside dedicated cards explaining how to use and interpret the set. Readers will find deep intuitive resonance in every narrative, from The Fool’s beginnings to The World’s wholeness.
Ideal for tarot and oracle readers, this collection offers a compelling blend of urban storytelling and classic symbolism.
